Astound Technologies LLC and IMA receive Realcomm DIGI Award for Best Use of Technology in Commercial Real Estate

Chicago, IL, Realcomm Conference, June 23, 2009: Interactive Multimedia Artists’ Virtual Concierge system was cited as one of 2009’s most innovative uses of digital technology in the commercial real estate industry. The Virtual Concierge enables visitors to a hotel, or other commercial building, to receive service from an expert with the touch of a finger. Visitor locations are equipped with a Virtual Expert terminal, housing a touch-screen computer with integrated camera, connected to the Internet. Visitors that can’t find answers from the system’s information directory touch the screen for live two-way video assistance from an expert, who can be working from anywhere on the Internet.
